Alongside Happy Tails, Carly is also the owner of Happy Trail Adventures, a women’s outdoor education company, and also an active real estate agent with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services in Worthington. She loves to keep active and busy, but overall loves to network and create long lasting relationships with people in all her business endeavors.
Fun fact: Carly has backpacked more than 5000 miles solo, including national scenic trails such as the Pacific Crest Trail, Colorado Trail, and the Long Trail!

Having grown up in the country, animals have always been a big part of my life. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, gerbils, pigs, sheep, cows, horses, and even snakes. I currently have two cats, Dory and Daisy. Dory is a Bengal and extremely outgoing. She often joins me on my hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding adventures. I grew up in Worthington, where I live with my bernedoodle Tommy. I’ve always loved the animals in my life, from fish and guinea pigs, to 100lbs dogs, and I’ve learned important things about being a pet owner from each of them. I’ve also been taking care of my neighbors dogs(and the occasional bearded dragon or leopard gecko) for as long as I can remember. I thoroughly enjoy the experience of cultivating a relationship with the animal, especially when you can watch them become more comfortable because of you while their family is away. Hi! I'm Amanda and I grew up on a small farm surrounded by horses, dogs, cats and other furry creatures. I'm very familiar with handling animals and making sure their needs are met while also having a keen eye for unusual behavior that could indicate illness or discomfort. It's an absolute joy to offer company and care to your fur babies while you're away from home. I recently earned my MFA in Creative Writing from Ohio State and work as a freelance writer while also studying online for the TEFL certification. This allows me to have a flexible schedule so I can be available to stay in your house quietly and uninterrupted.
