Guardian Care
Our most comprehensive and hands-on pet care service is designed for animals requiring constant medical attention, dealing with severe separation anxiety, or for owners who simply appreciate the comfort of having a sitter present at all times. Much like our Around The Clock care, Guardian Care ensures a dedicated sitter becomes an integral part of your home, assuming responsibility for both your pet and household.
Your Guardian Care sitter will reside in your home, following your pet's specific medical regimen, addressing their emotional needs, and mirroring your daily routine for feeding, playtime, and any necessary medical procedures. This level of personalized care guarantees an immersive and reassuring experience for your pet, with the sitter's continuous presence throughout the day and night.
In addition to pet care, our Guardian Care service extends to comprehensive home management. Our sitters are trained to handle various household tasks, such as mail collection, trash disposal, plant watering, routine security checkouts, and maintaining a clean and tidy living space. This holistic approach ensures that not only is your pet receiving constant care and companionship, but your home is also well-tended and secure.
To uphold the highest standards of care, Guardian Care requires the sitter to adhere to a meticulous schedule. Sitters are allowed to leave for a maximum of 1 hour at a time, with an overall limit of 2 hours spent away per day. This structured approach guarantees your pet's uninterrupted care and attention, making Guardian Care the ideal choice for animals with special medical needs, severe separation anxiety, or for owners who prefer the constant presence of a caregiver. A Happy Tails team member will become an integral part of your household, assuming responsibility for your home and beloved pet just as you would. Your dedicated sitter will reside in your home, mirroring your daily routine when it comes to feeding, walking, playtime, and other essential pet care tasks. This personalized approach ensures an immersive and socially enriching experience for your pet, with the sitter's presence throughout the day and night.
In addition to pet care, our services extend to comprehensive home management. We handle various household tasks, such as collecting and forwarding your mail, taking care of your trash disposal, tending to plant watering needs, performing routine checkouts to ensure your home's security, keeping your living spaces clean and tidy, and even taking care of yard waste cleanup.
To maintain a consistent and reliable presence, our sitters adhere to a schedule where they can leave for a maximum of 3 hours at a time, with a limit of 6 hours per day spent away. This structured approach ensures that your pet receives uninterrupted care and attention. This holistic approach to care is particularly well-suited for high-anxiety dogs, senior dogs, and energetic puppies, as well as for clients who prefer that their pets receive full-time care and companionship. Not only will your pet benefit from the constant presence of our sitter, but you can also rest assured that your home is in capable hands. Overnight Pet Care
Our overnight pet care service is designed to provide a flexible solution for clients who don't require round-the-clock pet care but still want the assurance of evening social time for their pets. This service takes place in the comfort of your own home and includes a dedicated sitter who stays overnight.
The sitter arrives between 7 pm and 8 pm for a 12-hour stay, ensuring your pet's evening and nighttime needs are met. If you wish, additional daytime drop-by visits can be scheduled for your furry friend, although please note that the daytime provider may differ from the overnight sitter.
We also offer comprehensive home management services, including mail collection and forwarding, trash disposal, plant watering, home security checkouts, and maintaining cleanliness. Yard waste cleanup is also part of our offerings.
With Happy Tails, you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving personalized care in a familiar environment while your home is well looked after during your absence.

All visits include home care. For vacation visits, clients prefer 3-4 drop by visits a day with a mix in length.
Sample daily schedule for vacation services.
8-9AM, 60 minute drop by visit for feeding, walking, and loving.
11-2PM, 30-minute visit for an afternoon outing and potty break.
4-6PM, 30-minute visit for dinner, evening walk, and home care (trash, mail, garden etc.)
8-9PM, 60-minute visit for a final outing, evening snuggles, and bedtime prep. The visit includes turning on lights for the evening.
The time of visit can be modified to fit your needs!
Meet And Greet
We strive to be the perfect match for you and your beloved pets, and it all begins with our new client application available on our contact page. After submitting all necessary forms, we then require a consultation to review your intake, pet care, and home care. At this part of the approval process, you have the option to select either an in-person consultation or an e-consultation conducted over Zoom or FaceTime.
While many of our clients prefer in-person meetings, we understand that new clients may have varying comfort levels or require immediate care, which calls for a more expedited process. Be assured that regardless of your choice, both options guarantee the same meticulous attention and care.
